In the ever-evolving landscape of architecture, our specialists are at the forefront of innovation and efficiency through computational design techniques.

One of our standout projects is the Atlassian Building, which showcases our expertise in architectural facades. Situated in the heart of Sydney’s bustling tech precinct, the building’s facade serves as a striking testament to the fusion of computational design techniques with architectural expression. At the core of this design lies the utilisation of parametric modeling and high-level programming techniques, enabling our design team to create a flexible digital framework where design parameters such as geometry, materiality, and performance criteria are intricately interconnected.

By iteratively manipulating these parameters, we explore a vast array of design possibilities while ensuring coherence and optimisation. Leveraging generative algorithms, we generate numerous facade configurations tailored to specific contextual, functional, and aesthetic considerations. This approach enables us to simplify complex design solutions and respond dynamically to site-specific conditions. By seamlessly integrating performance-driven criteria into the facade design process, our team evaluates the thermal, structural, and environmental performance of facade configurations in virtual environments, empowering us to optimise designs for energy efficiency, daylighting, acoustics, and occupant comfort.

Through advanced fabrication techniques, such as robotic fabrication, 3D printing, and CNC milling, we translate digital design models into physical prototypes with unprecedented precision and efficiency. Our use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) ensures seamless collaboration and precision by defining Levels of Information (LOI) and Levels of Development (LOD) at each stage. By embracing these cutting-edge techniques, we have redefined the boundaries of facade design, ushering in a new era of creativity, sustainability, and functionality.
