SRG Global’s Asset Remediation team is adeptly managing multiple contracts at Queensland Alumina Limited’s import/export wharf terminal in Gladstone. Our scope of work encompasses concrete remediation life extension services to the critical load bearing beam and pile components inclusive of the deployment of marine-based access systems. By harnessing the collective expertise within SRG Global, we have seamlessly integrated services with Asset Maintenance to provide a comprehensive in-house solution.

The initial phase of our project involves replacing existing fenders and fender piles, performing underwater steel pile splicing, and installing new waling beams. Our team is also executing a specialised concrete remediation contract, which includes repairing beams and piles of the wharf. This meticulous work involves breaking out and reinstating defective concrete, enhancing compromised reinforcement, and implementing repairs with sacrificial anode cathodic protection. Through these efforts, we ensure the long-term integrity and functionality of this vital infrastructure.
