SRG Global’s Civil team has undertaken the construction of a new treated wastewater transition tower for Water Corporation at the Point Peron Wastewater Treatment Plant site in Western Australia. Our work follows the recent duplication of a major section of the treated wastewater pipeline, known as the Sepia Depression Ocean Outlet Landline (SDOOL), which facilitates the transfer of wastewater from Woodman Point, East Rockingham, and other treatment plants across Western Australia.

The transition tower plays a critical role in managing and protecting the release of wastewater from the SDOOL pipeline into the ocean outfall pipe, alleviating pressure variations that can occur between different plants. Standing at 24 meters upon completion, the tower provides a crucial release point for pressure regulation. Our team has efficiently executed a range of activities, including earthworks, sheet-piling, bracing, jet grouting, dewatering, service diversions, and a significant concrete pours for the tower and other large structures, ensuring the successful advancement of this essential infrastructure project.
